Some screen shots from episode 1.
The only grandson of the Gold Group president, Louis lives an affluent but lonely life. Having lost his parents from a young age, his overprotective grandma dotes on him but because of a belief that her strong life force would inevitably kill him, he is brought up overseas under the care of a personal butler.
Though he enjoys a wealthy lifestyle, he lacks freedom and independence as every aspect of his life is being controlled by grandma. His only passion and obsession is shopping. When grandma falls ill one day, he rushes back to Korea to see her but ends up losing his memory. Louis cannot remember who he is or how he ended up on the streets.
After her grandma passed away, Go Bok Sil goes to Seoul to look for her runaway brother. She finds a homeless Louis who’s wearing her younger brother’s jacket, which meant that he must have met her brother. Hoping that Louis is able to provide information on her brother’s whereabouts, she decides to let him stay with her until he regains his memory.
I had a good laugh at this part when Cha Jung Won, director of the online Goldline.com shopping mall, is accosted by Go Bok Sil at the train station. In need of money after her bag was stolen on the train, Bok Sil tries to persuade him to buy a rare wild ginseng she had with her.
“Is she a psycho?”
