I’m not sure how other viewers see it but I’m beginning to find Louis’s character irritating and ill mannered. Even for one who has been brought up in a cocoon, it’s unacceptable behavior for an educated person. Or perhaps the script is trying to depict him as totally clueless and low on EQ but behaving badly is not cute. I wonder too why Bok Sil would fall for a ‘man’ who is that immature and self-centred. Someone says that love is blind …. perhaps?
Louis’s candid reviews on Goldline’s online shopping mall was creating a negative impact and because he was using Bok Sil’s staff userid and account, it meant trouble for her as well. Jung Won agrees to sort it out provided Louis moves out from Bok Sil’s house and stay at his place instead, a decision which Jung Won must have instantly regretted. It certainly gave his mum a shock when she found a half naked Louis on his bed.
The possibility that Louis is still alive becomes more apparent to his grandma and relatives. It’s a mystery who Butler Kim reports to but there seems to be someone who’s in on the investigation. Could it be Jung Won?

6-18The mysterious attacker strikes again at the place where Bok Sil is staying.

All about Louie b4 losing his memory was to lead the kinda posh life
—— be always waited on hand and foot by an ‘ army ‘ of servants…
But juz wonder after he’d lost his memory, had he not forgot to order
the people around doing the left and right for him, as if he was ruling
the whole world by fixing his bad ” culture” into his own egocentrism…
He’s none other than the spoilt generation of the rich —— too rich
to be accustomed to being mollycoddled, as practised by KBS, who
is considered more of a girl-servant to him…… and I think she’s doing
the worst not for the better one of him,, may be as Julee you’d put it as
love is blind as well ~
It sounds like I haven’t forgotten the narcissistic him needing a full
phase of reformation if he really means to have a new and healthier
    living further down his life…
Yes, exactly the way our butler Seo Dong Chan had worked on
GHN. Shopaholic Louie garnered his experience of shopping could
be of great help work under CJW in online sale, in such way could
he be able to stand up on his own instead of leading a life of leech
sticking to the food-provider (KBS) for survival. It’s a disgrace and
no fun at all waiting for the sun rising and the sun setting as a
recovery of his memory, the magic wand here may not work its way
off for conjuring up the fairy tales too easily, but in drama, it’d take
dramatic turn, the only thing needs to be fullfilled is he needs to
    work all his way up……
Yes, dear Julee, you can say that again ! Ill-mannered is not cute,
he needs some changes, not only to be self-reliant but the more
confident one, and he’ll become the sweeter one ~

Last but not least, a hackneyed practice of the male gender preference
is still prevailing in the Asian society, too bad and too sad !

      Hi Shandy,
Looks like we share the same point of view regarding Louis’s character. Even from the earlier ep when he first started living with Bok Sil, I could not understand why Bok Sil is so tolerant of this ‘kid’ living off her, losing her money and still serving him like a maid. Even if he might have lost his memory, he could at least go and do some simple part time work to earn his keep. No doubt he never had to lift a finger in his entire life but surely he is an intelligent person.

Before his memory loss, I don’t believe he has a mentality of a 12 year old like how he seems to be behaving at the moment. I can’t figure out Bok Sil’s tolerance towards him, are Korean ladies so subservient? Can she really love a ‘man’ with such a childish mentality and working so hard to support and feed him just because he has lost his memory? Apologies to Seo In Guk, he’s a good actor but I can’t identify with this character Louis at this point.

Perhaps he will undergo a change later on, hope it is something that is more believable.
