As Jung Hee had resolved to do what it takes to achieve success and be a father his children can be proud of, he is inevitably falling deeper into Eun Hee’s trap. Would he risk losing his identity to bend to her will?
Jae Bok makes a shocking discovery that Eun Hee has been stalking them over the years. Could this dangerous woman have manipulated everything in their life all along? Now that Jae Bok knows what is at stake, I think it would give her the determination to fight back.
Eun Hee’s psychosis could be a result of the physical abuse she and her brother Brian had suffered under their mum.
Though Jung Hee is glad to see that Na Mi is still alive, he cannot forgive her for having deceived him.
It might be over between them but Na Mi intends to stand by him. I have a feeling she will join forces with Jae Bok in their battle against Eun Hee.
Brian decides to join the company, most likely to keep an eye on Eun Hee and to prevent her from committing further misdeeds. Letting his sister believe that he likes Na Mi should keep her safe.
Eun Hee offers Bong Gu an attractive deal, to take up position as the company’s legal team if he agrees to seduce Jae Bok. I would be very disappointed if he can be lured to do her bidding since he genuinely seems to care for Jae Bok. Still he might be tempted as he has always been hanging around wealthy women to gain their favor.
For the sake of the kids and so that they can have joint custody, Jae Bok decides to move back in. Though Eun Hee is not pleased with this arrangement, she has to abide by the lease.
Jae Bok’s move back into the house would probably be a hindrance to her plans and since it is also Jung Hee’s intention for the family to stay together, Eun Hee agrees on condition that they get engaged. He’s caught in a bind as he has to honor his promise to do whatever she says.
When Mrs Park delivers a drunk Hye Ran to Jae Bok’s house warming party, she is surprised to see Eun Hee’s mum. And to everyone’s surprise she calls Eun Hee by another name Moon Eun Kyung.
The name sounds familiar to Jae Bok but Jung Hee does not seem to have heard it before.
With thoughts of the impending engagement on his mind, Jung Hee takes a last look at his family photo before placing it into a drawer. A gesture which I read as having to put his family aside for now and do what he has to.
He bumps into Jae Bok and the kids outside the house as he sets out for the engagement ceremony.
He wants to tell her but could not bring himself to do so.
With a trick she had learned from Bong Gu, Jae Bok succeeds in unlocking the door to Eun Hee’s room on the 3rd level. She had to find out why Jung Hee’s old photo was kept in that room and though they did not see anything in there earlier, Eun Hee’s response had seemed suspicious.
There was nothing unusual behind the curtain but something sticking out at the corner of the board caught her eye.
Jae Bok is horrified to find many old photos of Jung Hee from his rock band days and others of them with the kids. It was evident that Eun Hee had been stalking them over the years.
As he prepares for the engagement ceremony, thoughts of his children seem to strengthen his resolve to go through with it.
An exciting cliffhanger with Jae Bok rushing over when she finds out about the engagement.
Can’t wait for the next episode.
